Say Cheese...

What is it with people looking so dark and broody in their profile pictures? I mean honestly, is life really that awful that you can't, even for two seconds, muster up some sort of smile-ish thing?

Or perhaps you're trying to achieve this sense of mystery and intrigue...trying to get people to ask themselves "What lurks deep in their soul causing them so much pain?" Well, I'm sorry to say that your off-centered, black and white, over-exposed picture doesn't portray that, and instead serves to only further the clichés associated with "artsy photography".

Maybe, you're trying to hide your aesthetic deficiancies via angle manipulation...stop trying. If you are that self conscious that you need to implement "myspace angles" then do us all a favor, and just don't post a picture. Instead, put a picture of something else preferably inanimate. A football, a flower, a car, a smiley face, a big sign that says "CAUTION SEVERE SEXINESS AFTER EXTENSIVE PLASTIC SURGERY DUE TO OCCUR ON OR AROUND [insert date here]". Even better, let us talk to you, and be smitten by your charm and intelligence. We already know you're ugly, so what do you have to lose?
